Hands-On Learning

With our program’s strong clinical focus, students will have the opportunity to participate in practicum experiences starting right from the first year of studies.  Practicum allows students to apply what they learn concurrently in their course work to the real-life clinical environment.  The experiences students participate in during their program of study are designed to prepare BScN generalists, who can practice within diverse settings with clients and communities from a variety of cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, and across developmental stages.

In our high-tech nursing labs, students are offered simulated learning opportunities that enhance learning and provide students with practical, hands-on experience using the latest simulation technology.
